obviously, and i didn’t know this, that “Butch” in Africa means “being a man”. everyone on the entire continent of Africa is in LOVE with this dude, running next to women and stealing THEIR glory. my critique and opinion is NOT racist either! second place is a very dark skinned Kenyan girl. and i’m FINE if she or ANYONE of her “ilk” were to win this and other events. but let’s race apples against apples and oranges against oranges, PLEEEEEEZE!??
these poor young ladies have been training the better part of their lives to achieve their goals, for whatever reasons they have for doing so. and along comes an abnormality that pulls the rug from under them…
there is NO racism involved in this. this is a great decision to gender test this person. there has been MANY cases of fraud throughout the days and you know what?
i ALWAYS side with the innocent victims in the situations like this. it was done to that Indian dude in ’06, and SHE was proven to be a HE! sometimes there are fraudulent contenders. as a citizen of the US, i’ve grown up watching marathons where the winners were driven within a mile of the finish line. HORRIBLE!
and as a man who loves women, i find nothing but empty contempt for any one person, let alone an entire culture, that tries to convince me that “Miss” Caster is ACTUALLY a woman. proper genitalia or not.
He (Caster) rocked the time SO badly, there is NO QUESTION that he is not what she claims to be. and it doesn’t make sense either. cuz what does a country like South Africa have to gain by putting this athlete through this? for Caster’s sake, there better be a hefty contract that brings jobs to the nation!
and if the people in charge of South Africa believe that this was a good idea, more power to them.
i’ve been on multiple blogs that keep screaming “racism” and pulling race cards and talking the rest of the world down like the people with eyes and YouTube can’t figure this one out!!??
if Caster Semenya is a natural woman, then i’ll never listen to another Aretha Franklin song the same way again!
please give the sports fans of the world a bone, Caster. a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T, if you will!
you have a MAJOR talent and i’m sorry you were raised in a situation that would put you in a HORRENDOUS situation like this. this is NOT your fault. and i can’t imagine what you are going through right now.

I completley agree. Nothing like losing with honour or dignity. So you or the person u were cheering for lost get over it. Competition is about talent and speed not looks! and obviously she has it.

I think it is unfortunate that our humanity has not yet developed into the consciousness of love and acceptance but rather displays this degree of intolerance. This rhetoric of indifference exposes our need for a paradigm shift in our awareness. It is dirty and shameful that in this new millennium, with all the technological advancements, we are evidently primitive in our thinking. If it is true that as a man thinks, so is he, then we are still wallowing in an archaic era of perception. Just imagine that chauvinism and stereotyping is the norm rather than the exception. On behalf of a higher state of consciousness and as a citizen of the Kingdom of God, I apologize to Caster Semenya and her family. This is indeed a bitter sweet victory. What is most disturbing is that here in South Africa, the month of August honours women. I would like to dedicate the poem I wrote in honour of Women called “WOMAN” to Miss Caster Semenya.
WOMAN
Woman
God’s generosity to man
You are divinity
The essence of our humanity
Your emotional intelligence is superior
And your threshold for pain is inconceivably greater
Chosen as the vessel that transports life from eternity into time
You possess the wisdom to reason and the sense to make up your mind
The magnificence of your beauty bewilders me
For I am your sunshine and your shadow simultaneously
You are my weakness as much as you empower me
Even for my bondages you possess the key
Your love liberates me as it imprisons my attention
Because of you I experience ecstasy in a realm without dimension
I am enlightened by the lessons of your sensitivity
And humbled by the sacredness of your sensuality
Your elegance intoxicates
Your splendour motivates
I am enslaved by your grace and finesse
And seduced by your gentle caress
Your charm mystifies me with enchantment
Rendering me helpless with endless wonderment
Your sophistication captivates
It enthralls, it fascinates
I am blessed with eyes to behold your radiance
My heart pulses acceptance
You are kind, caring and forgiving
Gentle, loving and understanding
This is a tribute to your femininity
It praises your strength, your essence, your divinity
Woman thou art Wonderful Opulent Magnificent Anointed Nurturing

Congratulations to Ms. Caster Semenya on her incredible athletic feat. Not so long ago there were issues of dire urgency which demanded the world’s attention, most of the West Africa lay bare as AIDS strip her land of humanity while hunger, famine and disease rape and ravish her land and I could go on. People get with your priorities.
