African International Tattoo Fest

Slingshot Productions: put together an incredible day of Ink, Steel, Colour and awesome people in one of the most beautiful venues in Durban, the Ocean Sports Centre.

Andrew Laubser from Slingshot,  Mallie (www.electriceye.co.za) and all those who played their part, really pulled out all the stops and it seems like the entire world was there.

Turn right and you see an artist that you have seen in international Tattoo Mags- Turn Left and you see and old friend and together you wonder around in amazement at these talented artists. The passion and love that the Tattoo community has for their art is evident in the constant chatter and “wow loook there” gestures of the visitors.

The production of the event was top class, with everything running perfectly smooth and it was evident from alll the smiles, that everybody got more than they bargained for.

Poor Mully, was booked from early till late and he must have done a bumper trade for the day. There are very few humans on this planet, who possess his element of skill and experience.  He won many prizes and I vote him to be among the top tattoo artists of all time – and yes !! – I am biased and he has done all four of my Tattoos.
